2. Yes, Binge Eating Disorder is where someone eats an unusually large amount of food and also has a feeling of not being able to control it. They also often have a lot of feelings of distress and shame about it.

Bulimia often involves binge eating (but not always) but the person will purge to get rid of the food afterwards (by vomiting, or using laxatives or abusing diet pills)
